FBJ Presets - OCEANSIDE
The very first FBJ preset — OCEANSIDE — for Lightroom is now on sale by popular demand!
Mostly used for outdoors, this preset will add a heightened visual experience to your photos by adding an individual aesthetic look and popping up the natural colors with a bit of grain. A fan favorite for this preset? the blue tones! The OCEANSIDE preset was inspired by the California beaches of Santa Monica and Venice Beach.
A heads up — every photo might work differently with the preset so try to play with the adjustments on the presets. I will leave super detailed installation instructions, but if you still need help installing it to the Lightroom app please don’t hesitate to e-mail me at fbjpresets(at)gmail.com.
I've also made sure to include a guide installation and a sample of a before and after picture using the preset.

INSTALLATION (scroll down for Lightroom Mobile installation guide)
— *Adobe Lightroom Dekstop
1) After purchasing the preset, an e-mail will be sent to you to download the DNG file. You can also download it directly on the Gumroad checkout page. Download the file on your computer.
2) Open Adobe Lightroom on your desktop computer.
3) Click on the DEVELOP tab on the top right and the PRESETS menu will appear on the left side.
4) You will see a - and + sign next to the PRESETS menu. Click the + sign and a drop down menu will appear (Create Preset and Import Preset/s). Click on IMPORT PRESET/S and locate the preset file on you computer. You’re all set!

You must have the Lightroom app already installed on your phone. This is also for those who are opening the DNG file on the phone (e-mail).
1) Open specific e-mail and press the DNG file to save it.
2) Open Adobe Lightroom app.
3) To make it easy, create a new ALBUM to download the #FBJpreset.
4) Enter the newly made album folder and UPLOAD the saved DNG file by clicking on the blue button containing a photograph icon with a plus sign (ignore the camera icon).
5) Search for the DNG file in your gallery. NOTE: The DNG file will show a black square and it will say DNG in the middle. The Lr icon appears on the top left. Click it.
6) Once uploaded, the black DNG image will be replaced with the default preset image of a guy walking across the picture and three palm trees in the background.
7) Click the DNG default preset image and you will see it appear on a full screen.
*To use the preset, you can either copy DNG settings and paste it on the photos of your liking, or taking the DNG file and “create” a preset so it shows in your preset folder on the bottom of the Lightroom Mobile app (next to all the settings).
— TO COPY DNG SETTINGS AND PASTING IT ON YOUR PHOTOS:
1) Go to the album where you downloaded the DNG file and the default DNG image (guy walking across the photo and three palm trees in the background) will appear full screen.
2) Tap the circle with the three dots inside on the top right of the Lightroom mobile app.
3) Click on COPY SETTINGS and then click OK.
4) Look for a photo that you’d like to try this preset setting, click the photo and you will see it full screen.
5) Click circle with three dots on the top right and click PASTE SETTINGS. Preset colors might look a bit off depending on what photo you’re using, so go to the bottom of the app with all the other settings and click on the LIGHT setting to play with exposure, contrast, etc. This is where you can get creative!
6) Once you’re finished, SAVE photo to camera roll, share it, etc! And you’re done!
— TO CREATE ‘PRESET’ FROM DNG FILE —
1) Go to the album where you downloaded the DNG file and the default DNG image (guy walking across the photo and three palm trees in the background) will appear full screen.
2) Tap the circle with the three dots inside on the top right of the Lightroom mobile app.
3) Click on CREATE PRESET.
4) A NEW PRESET dialogue box will appear. Under the PRESET NAME, title it FBJ Preset — OCEANSIDE (so you know it’s the FBJ preset) and then click the check mark on the top right of the Lightroom app.
5) The preset will be added to the User Presets folder in your Lightroom app and you’re done!
